Seminar on “New Trends in Urban Planning & Development”

Our director, Dr. Teoh Poh Huat was invited to speak at the recent seminar organized by Malaysian Institute of Planners (MIP) on 14 March 2008 at Hotel City Bayview, Penang. The aim of this seminar is to provide valuable information to the parties involved in property development and in developing planning, designing, management and control. Six papers were presented by qualified and experienced speakers in the field of urban planning, development and management, followed by a panel discussion and question-and-answer session. The papers were on topics related to real estate development, from the aspects of the latest trends in supply and demand, urban planning and management, legal and administrative framework and procedures, and planning policies and guidelines.
