Living in The Mansion

MALTON Bhd will be introducing its first signature project in Penang – The Mansion @ Cantonment – at The Star Property & Home Fair 2008.

Its sales and marketing manager C.H. Wong said registration would be open for the freehold low-density single block of duplex condominiums on Jalan Cantonment, which offer a unique mansion lifestyle living.

“The Mansion @ Cantonment is carefully planned to suit various needs. It has an eco-friendly concept with its ventilated design, energy and water saving features, green bathrooms and heat reduction design,” she said.

Wong said the single block consisted of one unit per floor, and all units have a sea view and city view.

“The built-up area for a standard duplex unit is about 5,000 sq ft,” she added.

She said the ground floor of the duplex unit was inclusive of a double volume living hall with full height window offering a view of the Gurney seafront and city, a spacious dining area, wet and dry kitchen, guest room, and a multi-usage room adjoining to a large lanai area which opens onto a private five-foot terrace with a water pond.

She said the first floor was designed to include a bedroom and two master suites, suitable for two-generation families. The master suites had separate spaces for the bed and a private sitting lounge, and a generous wardrobe designed with the lady of the house in mind.

She said all bedrooms would have bathrooms attached.

Wong said each unit would be served by two exclusive passenger lifts with a private lift lobby and cloak-room, and a large cargo lift, all with individual security access. There is also an in-house lift within the duplex.

She said each unit has three covered parking spaces, and common facilities at the gated and guarded community included an open terrace, landscaped garden, swimming pool, gym, and covered arrival hall.

Malton Bhd, which is taking up eight booths at the fair under Henry Butcher’s National Pavilion, will also be showcasing its prominent projects The Grove @ SS23 and V Square (VSQ) @ PJ City Centre in Petaling Jaya, Amaya Saujana in Subang, Bayu Villas @ Bukit Rimau in Shah Alam, and its service apartments with rental podium at Taman Maluri in Kuala Lumpur.

More than 50 exhibitors will showcase their property, home financing packages and home related products at nearly 200 booths at The Star Property & Home Fair 2008.

The fair will be held at the Penang International Sports Arena (PISA) from tomorrow to Sunday. It will open from noon to 8pm.
