Chance to Snap up Bargains

EXHIBITORS are looking forward to robust sales in the upcoming Star Property Fair 2010 to be held from July 23 to July 25 at G Hotel and Gurney Plaza in Penang.
Organised by Star Publications (M) Bhd in collaboration with Henry Butcher Malaysia Penang, it is an event not to be missed as an array of attractive packages and rebates will be offered by over 20 major developers.
Belleview Group's marketing communications manager Christina Tan said the company would showcase four mega projects - All Seasons Park, Melody Homes, Palmyra Residences and Bukit Dumbar Residences - at the fair.
"We forecast the property market to be robust this year and expect good response.
"Lots of people are looking for great investments and this fair is perhaps their final chance to buy units before they're completely sold out," she said after attending a briefing session by The Star's advertisement representative Timothy Lim at G Hotel yesterday.
Also present were The Star's regional manager (operations) Chung Chok Yin, regional advertising manager Simone Liong and regional circulation manager Oun Sui Leng.
Tan added that the company would also launch a new savings scheme, with rebates and free memorandums of transfer/stamp duty among its perks.
"It is a good scheme for those who wish to invest in a home. We've been around for 26 years, and quality homes have always been our hallmark.
"They represent good and sound investments with great capital appreciation,"
Tan said.
She added that prices ranged from RM250,000 (All Seasons Park), RM160,000 (Melody Homes), RM430,000 (Palmyra) and RM900,000 (Bukit Dumbar).
Reka Indah Development (Penang) Sdn Bhd's sales executive Teoh Poh Poh said they would promote their The Boulevard development near Lebuhraya Thean Teik. There will also be open registration for the upcoming The Meridien high-end condominium in Sungai Ara.
"Only about 30% of units are left for The Boulevard.
"Most buyers like the units' layout, including the high ceiling," she said, adding that perks during the fair included waivers for sales and purchase agreement and legal fees, low downpayment and 0% interest till completion.
Nusmetro Ventures (P) Sdn Bhd sales executive Yeap Teik Huat said they would highlight their The Oasis condominiums in Gelugor.
He said the project comprised three blocks with a total of 530 units which range in size from 1,041 sq ft to 1,183 sq ft.
"The prices are from RM300,000 but visitors to our booth will get special rebates," he said.
Ideal Property Development Sdn Bhd sales executive Shirley Yong said they would promote three projects - One World and One World II condominiums at Bayan Baru and also its One Residence landed property at Sungai Ara.
"We have 288 One World units ranging from 1,160 sq ft to 1,560 sq ft. The price is from RM299,000 to RM370,000.
"As for One World II, there are 250 units with bigger build-up areas from 1,380 sq ft to 1,650 sq ft. The price is from RM330,000 to RM450,000," she said.
Yong added that One Residence was one of their most sought-after projects.
"Visitors can register for the 300 double- storey houses with build-up area of 2,000 sq ft and above during the fair," she added.
OJY Sdn Bhd's marketing representative Oon Paik Joo said they would showcase their three-storey houses in Batu Ferringhi - The Shamrock.
She said the houses, with a build-up area of 3,000 sq ft and above, had wonderful views of the sea and was priced from RM1.2mil.
