2007 Penang Property Market Outlook

From feng shui perspective, Penang island is subdivided into 8 sectors as shown in the picture above. In Year 2007, the East sector of the Island which covers from inner city of George Town, Sungai Pinang, Jelutong, Greenlane, Gelugor, along coastal highway, Batu Uban, along Jalan Yap Chor Ee, Sungai Nibong, Sungai Dua , Taman Lip Sin, Taman Pekaka and East Coast will be enjoying the highest feng shui auspiciousness rating, as high as 85%. This mean, the areas in East Sector would be experiencing highest growth rate in the island and most likely to advance a step further in terms of land and property value.
South East Sector which includes Queensbay, Bayan Baru, Bayan Lepas and Bukit Jambul will have 70% in terms of feng shui auspiciousness rating. Queensbay is definitely an economic growth catalyst in this area. However, comparatively, the rating of this area is still below the rating of its neigbouring East Sector.
Tesco and E-gate along the coastal highway which are located in the East Sector, will remain vibrant and dynamic despite the competition from nearby Queensbay.
Pulau Tikus, Air Itam and Tanjung Tokong which is under North East sector achieve 60% feng shui auspiciousness rating. This shows that for year 2007, the properties in this area would only be able to maintain what they have been enjoying for the past year.

South Sector which covers Sungai Ara, Batu Maung and Teluk Kumbar has 75% rating. The future 2nd bridge, linking between Batu Maung and Batu Kawan on the mainland has somehow increase the demand for the properties nearby and thus escalate the property prices. This is a consequent to the higher auspiciousness rating.
In summary, East Sector has the highest feng shui auspiciousness rating in year 2007, whether be its physical development or property value appreciation, East Sector will surpass other areas of Penang island for year 2007.
